ParentLog is a personal journal app published by Statdate LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app. The short version: your journal stays on your own devices, and we never receive it.
We do not collect any personal information. ParentLog has no user accounts, no login, and no server of ours that your data is sent to. We do not use analytics, advertising networks, or third-party tracking tools of any kind.
Everything you enter into ParentLog — journal entries, time-slot notes, highlights, tags, exchange times, expenses, photos, and documents — is stored locally on your device.
We cannot read, retrieve, or recover your entries. This also means that if you delete the app from all of your devices and have no iCloud copy or exported PDF, your entries cannot be restored by us.
When you print or export a PDF, you choose where it goes — a printer, a file, an email, or another app. Once you share a file, its handling is governed by whatever service or person you sent it to. We are not involved in and have no visibility into that transfer.
ParentLog is intended for use by adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Entries you write may describe your child; that content stays on your devices under your control, exactly like the rest of your journal.
If the app offers a paid upgrade, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only the anonymized sales and payout reports Apple provides. We never receive your payment card details.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. You can delete any entry, photo, or expense inside the app at any time, and deleting the app removes its local data from that device. iCloud copies can be managed in your device's iCloud storage settings.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to request from us. You already have direct access to all of your data inside the app, and the export feature produces a complete copy on demand.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Meaningful changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
